Understanding who you are and what you need is the first step in our relationship. I'm passionate about spending as much time as is needed to create the right questions. So often the answer is what everyone is looking for but without figuring out the actual question that can take you in the wrong direction.

Some of the greatest moments of my life have been during my time as mentor or reverse mentor. Gaining the trust of an individual, helping someone position themselves in a place that sets them up to achieve what aspire to is an incredible honour. I've been fortunate to work with incredible reverse mentors as well that have guided me and made me more empathic in all aspects of my life. I'd describe mentoring and coaching as two different martial arts, they have similar goals but take very different paths.
I love to talk. Talking one on one or one to many, I just love to talk, engage, inspire, challenge, question and well, just talk. I've presented to theatres of 3000+ people and I've talked to c-suites numbering less than 10. The fundamental part of any talk I give is relevance. I never give the same presentation twice, who'd want to do that? I only present when I understand the purpose, the audience and believe I have something of value to contribute. Empathy is the best topic in the world to talk about, it's literally sharing the thing I care about most!
Developing an empathy first mindset is important for everyone within an organisation. Key stakeholders must set the direction, positioning, and model the right behaviours. However, empathy will only ever be your true superpower if it's embraced by all. Developing an empathy roadmap and not working through how to implement is not something I'm comfortable with. When we can measure the change over time and we can determine that we've embedded empathy, that's when we've done something that matters.
